Strawberry Basil Cheese Log Recipe
Ingredients
- 12 ounces (2 containers) of Shire’s Plain Cream Cheese
- 5 strawberries, chopped
- ½ cup strawberry preserves
- 1 cup basil, chopped
- ¼ cup balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Empty containers of cream cheese into a medium bowl.
- Add in strawberries and ½ the basil.
- Gently stir until combined, but do not overmix.
- Place plastic wrap on a working surface. Spread the cheese mixture onto plastic wrap in a thick 2-inch line.
- Roll plastic wrap into a log shape. Place in freezer for 1 hour.
- Remove plastic wrap and plate. Garnish with preserves and remaining basil. Drizzle with balsamic glaze. Serve with crackers or fresh bread.
