Pear, Arugula, and Carmelized Onion Pizza Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 plant-based pizza crust
  • ¼ cup cornmeal
  • 1 container of Shire’s Plain Cream Cheese
  • ½ red onion, sliced
  • 1 red pear, thinly sliced
  • Olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar glaze
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Set oven to 475 degrees.
  • In a medium sauté pan add a drizzle of olive oil and red onions. Sautee for 1-2 minutes, add pear slices, and sauté another 2-3 minutes.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set crust on the sheet and drizzle with olive oil and cornmeal.
  • Spread on Shire’s Plain Cream Cheese, top with arugula and sautéed onions and pears.
  • Cook in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove, let cool, and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
